RRI: Where are the Disasters from and who is in the band?

Mykie: Peoria Illinois, however my singer comes up from St. Louis to rehearse, and do shows. Jake Nostromo on bass, Mike Branson on lead guitar, Lou Dalton on drums, Ryan Skeen on vocals, and me on rhythm guitar.

How long have you guys been together and touring?

Three years this month. 

Who are your influences as a musician and guitar player?

Johnny Thunders, Andy McCoy and Keith Richard’s. 

What music are you currently grooving to?

Mother Love Bone, 

What do you sing in the shower?

Itsy bitsy spider. (Laughs)  Depends on what’s playing on my Spotify, honestly.        

What's your Favorite Saturday night record?

Cheap Tricks first album. 

Favorite lazy Sunday morning record?

The Cures Disenagration 

Last rock star you shook hands with?

Dano, the touring singer from Speedealer 

Favorite venue to play?

Coolest was CBGB’s, favorite was Club Clearveiw in Dallas. 

Favorite place in Dallas Texas to get a beer and maybe some chicken wings? Angry dog. 

What can Rockford expect to see and hear June 28th at The Texas Lounge 1007 South Main Street Rockford?

An all inclusive, loud, Fast, a Punk driven circus, including the walk of shame the next morning if you’re lucky!

We have 3 demos on Reverb nation. We are currently finishing up 16 tracks, that will be uploaded to all the major streaming sites once they get registered. Plus we are planning on going vinyl. Facebook as well. Cheers!
